Jacqui Chiplin is a certified massage therapist who has spent over 10 years in England and the USA studying health and fitness and the benefits of a healthy mind and body. This interest in a holistic approach to healing led to training at the Concentric Healing Institute in Boulder.

The Institute is owned and run by Gillian Keiper, originally from Scotland, who spent many years of training in China with Rinpoches, passing on her knowledge and wisdom of Asian philosophy for mind and body healing.

On The River's philosophy is to explore and develop the healing arts to encompass both western and eastern ideologies.

Dr. Gianna Settin (Reiki healer)

Dr. Gianna Settin, Director of Avanti Healing
Arts, is a Reiki Master Teacher of Gendai Reiki Ho, Usui-Tibetan Master - Teacher Training, and Karuna Reiki, Licensed with the International Center for Reiki Training. She is approved to offer category A education contact hours to nurses through the American Holistic Nurses Association and to massage therapists and body workers through the NCBTMB. She is also a licensed PhD Clinical Psychologist offering Psychotherapeutic Reiki as part of her Reiki practice. A professional dancer in her first career, she produced the DVD Healing Dance and presents her Reiki Healing DanceTM certification course worldwide.

Experienced with spiritually-based meditation practices since her teen years, she utilizes her professional background in the performing arts, dance and education in her work which is informed by an eclectic blend of of cross-cultural Western-Eastern blended influences, Catholicism, Buddhism and Native American practices. She is the daughter of an Italian immigrant, step-mother of 2 wonderful daughters, and an avid outdoor recreationalist. She currently lives in Estes Park, Colorado, with her partner Lynnerd, and Big Red, the amazing Reiki dog.

Specializing in Reiki with animals and environmental balancing for homes, offices and the land, she does out-calls in range of where she lives. She holds monthly Reiki Classes and Reiki Share Circles, taught regularly in Colorado, New Mexico, Maine and parts of Canada. She also taught in Nepal in October 2006 & France in May 2007.

I strongly believe that it is essential that we all work toward re-balancing planetary energy where we live, in our own ways, to help Mother Earth walk in beauty. Tending to our spiritual practice (however we choose to express it), and caring for the animals, stones, plants and beings on the land will allow each of us to be guided toward the next right thing...today....The more I work with the Great Spirit and my primary guides, the more my life is tranquil and filled with joy. This aspect of life on this planet has become primary for me, and I have found Reiki energy to be a specific for that purpose.

Reiki has provided a level of stability, safety and grounding combined with celestial guidance that transcends any other form of healing that I have experienced and I feel completely blessed by its light. I love to teach Reiki and to share its transcendent wisdom and wonder with others. It is truly a way to "discover the spirit of healing within".

Dr. Settin currently practices Reiki, Psychotherapeutic Reiki and Intuitive Energy Healing in Estes Park, Colorado.

Alicia Allison (Hypnotherapist)

Alicia Allison attributes her success in golf and life to her early hypnosis training. She won the United States Junior stroke play championship at the age of 16. Soon after, she was invited to play in a Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Major, the MacDonald's Championship. As a junior golfer she ranked as high as 3rd in the world. For 3 consecutive years, she played alongside Tiger Woods and other to-be touring professionals on the Canon Cup National Team. She experienced such success because she was trained to access her highest potential.

Through self-hypnosis, she learned how to access the fabled "zone" in golf, a place where the game became effortless, where action and awareness merged into ultimate focus, control, and instant feedback. After realizing the beauty of stepping into the zone at will on the golf course, she decided to apply hypnosis techniques to every other area of her life. Hypnotherapy has helped her with her relationships, sleep, career, spiritual faith, and health. She has used hypnotherapy to help others achieve goals, heal their past, find forgiveness, create balance in their lives, communicate better, improve relationships, sleep better, feel relaxed and diminish brain chatter.
